You might think Frozen yogurt with blackberries that sounds good, but why the hell is there black pepper in there? The reason for this is because I had black pepper ice cream once and I loved it. I already planned to make frozen yogurt with blackberries, and I just wanted to add an extra ingredient, so I decided on the freshly ground black pepper. The ice is creamy, slightly sweet and gives a slight tingly sensation on your tong due to the black pepper. Love it!
Frozen yogurt with blackberries
- 200 grams of full-fat Greek yogurt
- 250 grams of deep-frozen blackberries
- 2 tablespoons of fine crystal sugar
- 1/3 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- fresh blackberries
Instructions, Frozen yogurt with blackberries:
The only thing you need is a food processor or a blender. Put the frozen blackberries together with the sugar and yogurt into the blender. Blend until smooth, turn off the blender. Add the freshly ground black pepper and spin shortly. Taste the frozen yogurt and add extra pepper and sugar to taste.
Pour the ice cream into a container and place into the freezer until it reaches the thickness you prefer. Don’t forget to stir it occasionally. If you own an ice maker, you can use that instead of putting the ice into the freezer. To be honest, I ate it straight away it was just a bit softer than soft serve ice cream, delicious.
Eat it straight away or freeze it some more. Whatever you decide to do, enjoy your frozen yogurt.
